About the Founder

Hi! I’m Ashley, the Founder of PhD Paths, and a current Neurosciences PhD Candidate at Stanford University.

As someone who entered graduate school knowing I did not want to pursue a career in academia, I’ve spent many hours Googling “what can I do with my PhD”. It can easily feel like the only option is academia until you learn of the many, many career paths you can take. PhD Paths is the resource I wish I had when I first entered graduate school.

I hope this can help future, current, and past PhD graduates figure out what career is best for them and their life goals. May we all pursue career paths that align with our values, support our ideal life, make an impact, and utilize our unique skillsets.
